Liquid Live Micro Organism (ABA) technology is the practical application of a major biological discovery.
The bacteria are alive in a dormant state and suspended in a liquid solution.
Bacterial growth resumes at virtually 100% recovery rate when introduced to appropriate nutrients in a biological waste treatment system,
examples of such systems are : Aquaculture , effluent treatment plants (sewage) and systems where organic material needs to be reduced.

ABA is a blend of several selected strains of saprophytic bacteria that accelerates the digestion of organic wastes in the sewage treatment
system through the process of natural bacterial action on the wastes.
ABA contains both aerobic and anaerobic bacteria to ensure maximum effectiveness under varying plant conditions.

The ABA product range includes a range of specialised bacterial formulations.
It is recognised that wastewater is typically complex, therefore while each of the ABA products is best at degrading certain types of wastes,
a mixture of bacterial species is included in each product to provide optimum treatment efficiency.

ABA products can be used by pouring the product directly into the waste to be treated. This method is simplest and is often quite effective.

All ABA bacterial products can be used either with or with out the Accelerator solution.

Typical Uses / Comments

ABA R-1
Excellent for rapid plant start up, recovery from toxic shock, help in cold weather applications.
Increases overall plant efficiency, often used to improve final effluent. Will help with the break down of phenols and hydrocarbons.
Commons uses: Aquaculture, aquariums, municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.

ABA N-1
Suspension of nitrifying bacteria, converts ammonia to nitrite to nitrate, also creates a environment to help denitirification.
Common uses: Aquaculture, aquariums, municipal and industrial wastewater treatment.

ABA Marine
Salt water version ABA N-1.
Product of choice for nitrification in brackish up to fully saturated saline solutions.
Performs denitrification step.
Common uses: Aquaculture, aquariums industrial waste plants using salt water cooling.

ABA Accelerator
A proprietary nutrient solution should be mixed with ABA product 12-24 hours before adding to system.
Boosts bacterial activity, enhances enzyme production so that ABA bacteria perform at peak efficiency.
