 | Cloverleaf Blanket Answer is a unique formula that is safe for all pond fish, plants and biological filters, although if sturgeon are present we would recommend Anti Blanket Weed instead as a precaution against de-oxygenation which can tend to occur. For persistant filamentous algae problems it is recomended to treat the pond up to 8 times a year although blanket weed should be gone after 2 or 3 treatments. Blanket Answer can be added to the pond by mixing with pond water and applying evenly over the water surface. Alternitvely it can be broadcast dry and allowed to sink. Important notesDuring treatment the blanket weed will die and break up causing pumps and filters to clog with algae, (Take as much or the weed out as you can before treating the pond.) and make sure you clean them regularly, have extra aeration as a back up.
